Still Waters is an installation of a series of clay paintings on paper, hung closely without gap between the images. The clay has been processed according to an ancient tradition, Terra Sigillata, which gives the clay leathery and dense finish. The work is a play between the movement of wet clay and paper which together a large field of motion that can be viewed as the shiny surface of a body of water or a muddy ground.

Materials: Four types of local clay from Bornholm, paper.
